The Parish Council asks all dog owners to keep their pets under control while in the public areas and paths around the village. Please use a lead unless you are sure your dog will come back to you when called, and please keep your pet near you and within sight at all times. If you are heading to the fields please keep your dog on its lead until you get there. Of course also pick up your pet's poo and don't let it foul our village streets or green areas!

Lichfield District Council has launched a new on-demand transport service for the villages across Lichfield District.
LinkUp consists of two on demand buses that will provide transport into Lichfield for those who don’t currently have access to public transport.
It’s a value-added service to the current transport network, only it’s a bit like booking a taxi, but you will share your transport with others, just as you would share a bus.
Journeys are £3 each, and can be booked via the dedicated app, online or through calling a dedicated contact centre on 0808 134 6632

There is a proposal to install a pipeline to take treated discharge from sewage works at Measham and Packington in North West Leicestershire to the River Trent. The route of the pipeline is not yet finalised and may no longer be taken along the Mease Valley but be taken to the Tame at Elford; land surveys are currently taking place. Further information will be passed on when we receive it but there has been no consultation with Parish Councils so far.
